Sixty units for families were constructed in two phases. The first phase consisted solely of 2 and 3 BR townhouses and a community building. After lease-up the second phase was adjusted to include a larger number of 1 and 2 bedroom over/under units, built into the hillside so each has a private entry. The site development is an urban Traditional Neighborhood Design model in a suburban setting with street parking, traffic calming measures, street trees and street lights to create a pedestrian experience and sense of place. Additional overflow parking lots were created for second cars and visitors. The community facilities include gathering spaces and a playground. Twenty of the units were constructed with geothermal heat systems and all are Energy Star rated. Both phases were funded by PHFA PennHOMES and LIHTC. A future Phase 3 loop that would have connected the roads was not constructed.
