The location is the transition of rural countryside and contiguous mixed-use development of greater Lewisburg. The property was donated by the nearby Evangelical Community Hospital to be developed into 44 units of senior housing which are arranged as cottage style in 7 buildings. Each unit has an open floor plan, washer and dryer, and ample storage. A separate Community Building contains space for community functions and services. And a large patio with outdoor grill provides additional gathering space. The exterior materials reflect the historic character of Lewisburg. The project will be certified to the National Green Building Standard and DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes program. It was financed with LIHTC/PennHOMES.
