In 1999 the original building was designed for maximum flexibility in personnel needs and of future technology changes in emergency management. The spaces include the 911 Call Center with a twin space as a Training Room which allowed them to be interchangeable or expandable as needed. The high tech communication system is critical to support the agency as well as the mechanical systems’ emergency generator and back up systems. Twenty years later in 2019 the space was added to the building for offices, a situation room for emergency coordination, and a conference room while the original building remains largely as designed.
