It was important to the non-profit developer to provide multiple affordable housing options to address a variety of needs in the community.   The family development offers 40 apartments with different building types – apartment building living, 2-story residential building with stacked flats, and townhouses.  Apartments with 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom units are available, and all units have front porches and a private patio or balcony.  The centrally located Community Room has a full kitchen for large group gatherings.  Other community amenities include a pavilion, playground and a walking trail.  New sidewalks link the community to nearby amenities and inspire ownership and a sense of place to the residents.  All units are built for energy savings and high indoor air quality.  The project is certified to 2020 Enterprise Green Communities and the DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes program.  Project is funded through LIHTC/PennHOMES.
