Cherry Lane Apartments three-story development provides affordable family housing in State College within close proximity to The Pennsylvania State University. The location is critical as affordable housing is in high demand. The building contains 18 residential units (a mix of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3-bedroom units) on the second and third floors in addition to commercial space on the first floor.  The basement houses the community spaces for tenants including bike storage, fitness room, and a large gathering lounge space. Off the lounge is an open library flanked by the Management and Supportive Services offices. The Community Room with a full kitchen is available for resident use.  The project is certified to the 2015 Enterprise Green Communities program.  The project was financed with PHFA LIHTC and PennHOMES.
