A 36 unit affordable senior residence with age in place features. On the site of a former County Nursing Home, this new 3 story building provides a needed living option near Trevorton and Shamokin nearby public transportation. The sweeping mountain views are a site feature. Resident common spaces: community room with kitchen, fitness room, activity room, library, and laundry room. A nurse’s suite and supportive services are also provided. A future pavilion and a walking path with exercise stations are planned. Project is certified to 2015 Enterprise Green Communities. Project was funded with PHFA PennHOMES and LIHTC.
