Twenty-four townhouse units are constructed in a wooded area of a rural
community. The two- and three-bedroom units are part of a larger development
plan, which includes adjacent single family residential lots. A community
building provides space for resident gatherings, laundry, and an office.
The buildings face a central playground. Services to increase self-sufficiency
are emphasized. Ground Source Heat Pumps were used for heating and
cooling. The project was financed by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency
and LIHTC.
