The zoning ordinance required the building to mimic the local architecture, which is primarily agricultural, leading to its barn-like appearance. The building has fifty-nine units of elderly housing and amenities such as a computer room, fitness room and beauty salon. A Ground Source Heat Pump system was used. Financing is provided by Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, FHLB and LIHTC.
