Designed by Thomas R. Harley Architects. With financing from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and the Federal Home Loan Bank, the former Saltsburg High School is converted into 24 apartments for the elderly. This is the first project the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency chose to fund in Indiana County. This building had been vacant for 10 years. Conversion to moderate income housing created a taxable property, revitalized the neighborhood and provided affordable housing to the aging.
